Bernina Walking Foot (New - Three Soles) #50v

This foot is indispensable when additional control is needed to feed the fabric or layers being sewn.

In a tradition of continuous technical improvements, BERNINA recently enhanced this Walking Foot. It now includes three interchangeable soles: the closed sole designed for sewing with difficult or slippery fabrics, the open sole designed for quilting, and the sole with center guide to help stitch perfectly straight along a seam or edge.

• Use the closed sole for sewing on leather, velvet, slippery or sticky fabrics, for matching plaids, etc. There are both 1/4" and 1/8" markings on the sole to serve as seam and cornering guides.
• Use the open sole when machine quilting. The quilting sole has an "open toe" configuration to improve visibility when quilting. It also provides 1/4" and 1/8" markings to serve as seam and cornering guides. The back of the quilting sole is designed to reduce drag on the quilt, further promoting perfect feed.
• Use the center guide sole to help stitch perfectly straight along a seam or edge; it is great for in-the-ditch stitching for both sewing and quilting applications.
