With the Bernina Free Hand System (FHS), you can easily raise and lower the presser foot using the knee lever while simultaneously lowering the feed dog, allowing you to position and remove your sewing project with ease. In addition, the presser foot can be swung out to the side for convenient access to the needles. Thanks to the 2-step presser foot lifter, you can position even thick or multi-layered projects effortlessly and precisely.

Control your L660 exactly as you wish. With the Bernina foot control, you can sew precisely stitch by stitch, and the back-kick function lets you raise or lower the needle with ease. The speed can be adjusted using the slider on the front panel, while the presser foot pressure can be customised for thin or thick fabrics. The dimmable sewing light creates the perfect working environment. Thanks to the powerful DC motor, you maintain excellent control at all times.

With Micro Thread Control (MTC), you can fine-tune the looper thread amount for a flawless fabric edge. Adjust settings at any moment to achieve perfect stitches even while sewing. The open tape guide of the Overlock Foot #L11 makes it suitable for a wide range of fabrics, from fine to heavy, and ideal for adding tape to projects. Keep tools exactly where you need them with the magnetic holder, ensuring tweezers and scissors are always within reach. The accessory box with integrated tool insert keeps everything secure and neatly organised.

The L660 provides a bright, spacious sewing area with a compact footprint. Effortlessly guide large or heavy projects across the sturdy slide-on table. Precisely adjust the knife position up to a 9 mm stitch width. For seams without cutting fabric, the knife can be easily deactivated from the outside at any time.
