An overlocker differs from a standard sewing machine in that it trims, neaten and seams fabric edges in a single pass, giving a clean, hardwearing finish that won’t fray. The “Air” models in the Pfaff range use air-assisted threading, which makes light work of changing threads and re-threading loopers.
Coverlock models add coverstitch capability too, useful for hemming knitwear and activewear with a professional finish.
