Micro Thread Control (mtc)

The patented mtc system allows over-the-edge thread loops to be fine-tuned with a simple lever adjustment. This reduces setup time while ensuring neat, consistent stitches, professional seams, and perfectly finished edges.

Ultimate Comfort

The Bernina L450 is designed for excellent sewing comfort. Two LED lights provide bright, even illumination across both the needle and looper threading areas.

The differential feed ensures smooth, wave-free seams on stretch fabrics and prevents puckering on fine materials. Frequently used accessories are stored neatly in the looper cover for quick access, while the fitted cut-offs bin collects fabric trimmings and doubles as storage for the foot control.

Easy Threading

Threading is made simple with a colour-coded threading path and handwheel positioning window for accuracy. The manual needle threader ensures ergonomic threading, while the lower looper threader simplifies setup further. A built-in thread cutter on the left cover adds extra convenience.
