Stitch Adjustment Dial

Box Feed – JUKI Industrial Sewing Machine Technology

JUKI's industrial BOX Feed system has been brought to the home sewing machine. The BOX Feed system allows you to create high-quality stitches on a wide range of fabrics. It stays in contact with the fabric for longer, providing a consistent and reliable seam every time.

Straight Stitch Slide Plate

Simply slide the front lever to switch to a single needle hole. Sew even the lightest fabrics with excellent needle penetration. The single needle plate helps prevent fabrics from being pushed into the needle hole.

Enjoy precise free-motion stitching with confidence. When the single needle hole plate is fitted, only straight-stitch patterns can be selected.

Float Function Prevents Uneven Seams

By pressing the float button, you can sew with the presser foot slightly raised. Raising the presser foot into the float position allows you to sew multiple layers of fabric without pushing the layers together or creating uneven seams.

Easily Create Buttonholes

The buttonhole sensor system provides optimum fabric feeding for different types of fabric. The one-step buttonhole function measures and evenly sews both the right and left sides of the buttonhole, automatically working in the optimum sequence for a perfectly finished result.

Foot Switch Function

For greater versatility, JUKI offers assignable foot-control functions. You can assign a function to the heel side of the foot controller, allowing you to lift the presser foot, trim threads, sew in reverse or sew a single stitch by pressing the heel side of the controller.

With no complicated settings required, you have complete control and can customise the machine to suit your sewing needs.

Presser Foot Pivot Function

When you stop sewing, the needle stops in the down position and the presser foot automatically lifts, allowing you to move the fabric easily. Sew corners and pivot with ease. When you resume sewing, the presser foot automatically lowers for smooth, continuous sewing.

This function can also be switched off.

Presser Foot Lift After Thread Trimming

The presser foot automatically lifts after automatic thread trimming, allowing you to quickly and easily remove your fabric.

This function can also be switched off.

Adjustable Starting/Reverse Stitch Speed

You can adjust the starting and reverse stitch speed between three settings: fast, normal and slow.

Lock Stitch

For securing the beginning and end of your sewing, you can choose between two options: reverse stitch or lock stitch. If you press the lock stitch button while sewing a pattern, the machine will stop after completing one cycle of the pattern.

Low-Speed Inching Sewing

By pressing and holding the needle up/down button, you can sew at a slower speed. This allows you to sew corners, stops and starts with greater precision.

Speedy Straight Sewing

With a maximum straight-stitch sewing speed of 1,050 stitches per minute, you can sew quickly and efficiently.

Knee-Lifting Lever

The presser foot can be raised and lowered using the knee-lifting lever. The presser foot can be raised by up to 0.5" (12 mm) when using the lever. When the foot is raised to its maximum height, you can also switch from automatic operation (button) back to manual operation using the lever.

Automatic Needle Threader

Simply place the thread in the guide and lower the lever. Threading the needle is quick and easy and can be done with one hand.

Bobbin Winder with Independent Motor

To wind the bobbin, simply wind some thread around the bobbin and pass it through the guide. You can wind the bobbin thread whenever needed and use the built-in cutter once winding is complete.

Quick Bobbin Preparation

Bobbin preparation is quick and easy. Simply follow the guide – there is no need to pull up the bobbin thread before starting to sew.

Elongation Pattern

Change the overall length of a pattern without changing its sewing density.

Free Motion

Simply flip the switch and lower the feed dogs. Enjoy both straight-stitch and specialised zigzag free-motion sewing. Adjust the presser foot height for easy fabric movement and enjoy the freedom of free-motion sewing.
