Micro Thread Control (mtc)

The patented mtc system allows over-the-edge thread loops to disappear with a simple flick of a lever. This saves time and effort while ensuring consistently high-quality stitches, professional-looking seams, and perfectly finished edges.

Ultimate Comfort

The BERNINA L 450 offers excellent sewing comfort. Two LED lights provide bright illumination, not only at the needles but also in the looper threading area. The differential feed ensures smooth, wave-free seams on knits and prevents puckering on fine fabrics.

Frequently used accessories are neatly stored in the looper cover for easy access. A perfectly fitted cut-offs bin collects fabric trimmings and also doubles as foot control storage.

Precise and Flexible

The L 450 runs smoothly at any sewing speed. It cuts and finishes a wide range of fabric types and thicknesses with ease and high precision.

Easy Threading

The manual needle threader allows for simple and ergonomic threading. The lower looper is easy to thread thanks to the dedicated lower looper threader. A colour-coded threading path and handwheel positioning window help you thread quickly and accurately. For added convenience, a thread cutter is located on the left cover.
